The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) CEO, Bassel Rahmy, announced that it has allocated EGP 25.6 billion over the past decade to boost industrial and production sectors in the region.
Bassel Rahmy, the CEO of the MSMEDA, emphasized the importance of the SME sector, which represents more than 80% of the Egyptian economy
Additionally, Rahmy explained that the contract will benefit various commercial, service, agricultural, and production projects sectors.
These agreements came as follows: the first funding, worth EGP 100 million, to finance the micro project in all governorates. The second funding, worth EGP 60 million, was allocated to women in all governorates within the framework of the project to support women in microfinance.
